Vertical Blinds

For an inside mount Measure the width top, center and bottom, recording the narrowest width. Measure the height left, right and center recording the shortest height. When you specify inside mount, we will make your blind slightly smaller than specified to allow for operating clearance. We will deduct between 1/16" to 3/8" from the width on each side, and 1/4" to 1/2" from the height. For a flush inside mount (the blind completely recessed so the top of the blind does not project out of the opening) check that you have enough depth. For an outside mount Measure the opening width. If there is room, add at least 4" on each side of the window opening to ensure minimum light gap. Measure the opening height. Add a minimum of 2 1/2" in height to allow for mounting brackets above the opening and add your desired overlap for the bottom. If your window treatment will hang down to the floor, please allow at least 1/2" clearance on the bottom for proper operation. If you specify an outside mount, we will not take any size deductions - your blind will be made at the exact size you Measure the width top, center and bottom, recording the narrowest width. Measuring Guide

NOTE: You are 100% responsible for your measurements and understanding the notes below.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT MEASURING:
  • Always use a steel tape measure
  • Measure down to the eighth of an inch
  • Remember that inside mounts have
deductions taken by the factory (1/4" TO 1/2")
  • Measure Width in three places & use smallest Width
  • Measure Height in three places and use shortest Height
  • Width always comes first, then Height
  • Sliding Glass Doors usually use a one way draw
  • One way draw tracks are reversable
    (for left or right stack)
  • Valances on inside mounts are not flush with wall
(They stick into room about 1-2 inches)
  • Please review online installation instructions for a better idea of how Verticals mount
  • Extension Brackets are for clearing casing that is
    deeper than 3/4" from wall
